Royal Jelly – Nature’s Way to Nurture Fertility

There have been many claims made over the ages about fertility super foods. It's probably fair to say that most of these are myths or old wives tales. However, there is one natural food that even the conventional medical experts are taking notice of. That product is Royal Jelly, a substance secreted by honeybee workers. In this video, natural fertility specialist, Hethir Rodriguez, explains how Royal Jelly helps to boost fertility and promotes egg health.

Fertility issues aside, royal jelly has many other potential health benefits. Some of these include:

  • Diminishes and reduces the signs of aging
  • Increases libido
  • Promotes hormone balance
  • Protects against the fertility-damaging effects of chemotherapy
  • Protects liver health
  • Supports egg and sperm health
  • Naturally boosts the body’s immune system
  • Reduces inflammation caused by illness or injury

How RJ Helps with Fertility

When a woman takes a high quality royal jelly (RJ) on a regular basis, it helps to balance her hormones. This can be extremely beneficial to those who suffer from any kind of hormonal imbalance.

RJ provides good support to the endocrine system. Your endocrine system is a collection of glands that produce various hormones. These hormones are responsible for regulating metabolism, growth and development. They're also essential for tissue function, sexual function, reproduction, sleep, and mood, etc. Therefore, royal jelly may also help with fertility issues related to hormonal imbalances.

A 2007 study in Japan showed how royal jelly can mimic human estrogen, much like plant phytoestrogens. Estrogen is essential for healthy bone formation and gene expression. It's also vital for a healthy menstrual cycle.

Another study looked at how royal jelly may combat BPA growth-promoting effects on human breast cancer MCF-7 cells. BPA is a known xenoestrogen which is a foreign estrogen. Xenoestrogen is present in the environment and can cause infertility in women. It does this by contributing to poor egg health. The results of the study showed that royal jelly inhibits the growth promoting effect of BPA.

The source of this claim is in the following study:

More on BPA

Bisphenol A is what manufacturers use to harden plastics. It's an industrial chemical that has been in use now for well over 40 years. BPA is literally everywhere you look and in most of what you touch. More than 90 percent of us have BPA in our bodies right now. It finds its way in when we consume foods and drinks that have been in containers made with BPA. It can also be airborne, which means we can breathe it in through air and dust. BPA is also found in some water supplies.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) used to say that BPA was safe for humans. In 2010, however, the FDA altered its position. They now say that BPA is only safe at low levels of exposure.

Summary

Royal Jelly contains a number of nutrients that are required for conception. Fresh RJ can enhance the production of testosterone and mimic the female hormone, estrogen. When this happens there is an increase in fertility potential. Human studies on the benefits of royal jelly on women’s fertility are yet to happen. However, the animal studies done so far have all shown some real potential for fertility improvement.
